A mountainous route that passes through traditional villages, beautiful landscapes and must-see sights.

The route climbs up Mount Selena, offering splendid views of the Hersonissos coastline. The first stop is in Krasi, a traditional mountain village built in a verdant landscape with holm oaks, olive trees, plane trees, and walnut trees. A 2400 year- old perennial plane tree dominates the main square together with the old stone-made fountain that spills fresh water all year round.
.Next, we visit Lassithi Plateau in an altitude of 800-850m to enjoy a mountainous landscape of unique beauty with traditional windmills, picturesque villages and -of course- the legendary cave Dikteon Andron (Zeus Cave)where Zeus was born, according to mythology.

We complete this wonderful journey with good food and relaxation in beautiful Krasi.
